Pupil Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

PUPIL PREMIUM GRANT STATEMENT

Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011; it is additional funding allocated to schools to work with pupils who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years.

Schools also receive funding for children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months and for children of service personnel, and Schools have a responsibility to ensure that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most and the aim should be to narrow the attainment gap between these children and their peers.
