Our trip to the seaside at Hastings!

Visiting the allotments at Sevenoaks School: identifying plants, searching for minibeasts and digging out weeds!

Story time in the sunshine!

Science: using our observation skills to investigate things that are living, dead or have never been alive in the grassy area.

RE: How does Jesus want us to live our lives? Learning the story of when Zacchaeus met Jesus and writing about what he might have thought.

International Day! To learn about Zimbabwe, we made clay roundhouses, sampled delicious traditional food, and created interesting fact files to share with the rest of the school.

PE: practising our throwing and catching skills that are needed to be a batter or fielder.

Our Coronation Celebrations!

Maths: practising 2-digit subtraction

Geography: identifying the different climate zones around the world and using a compass to complete some direction challenges!

Whole School Project: we have designed, created and painted clay tiles for a school art installation (inspired by Kente cloth to celebrate Black History)

Art: using natural materials to create a collaborative piece of art

Talents Fair - using our talents to make and then sell friendship bracelets and animal bookmarks to raise money for charity

RE: crucifixion paintings inspired by our visit to the Stations of the Cross at St Thomas' Church

Writing: an information leaflet about Dia de los Muertos

KCSP Science Day: investigating chromotography with different inks and paper.

Visiting the Tower of London to learn more about the Great Fire of London!

Whole School Project: spine poems and artwork based on "The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse".
